Our RISING SUN BEACH VIEW guest house is located in Thinadhoo Island, Felidhoo-Vaavu Atoll.
It was born from the love and passion of Asmil (Maldivian) with decades of experience in the sector and Eleonora (Italian) first landed on the island as a tourist and since the very beginning in love with the place and people.
From this union the idea of creating something together was born, a small reality where you will be welcomed and pampered like home. What we want to transmit to you is the possibility of living in contact with the Maldivian reality on a day-to-day basis: from habits to customs and food.
Since it is a inhabited island it will be necessary to follow some simple rules respecting their culture and tradition.
We have large rooms suitable to accommodate from 2 to 4 people, equipped with typical Maldivian wooden furniture in a simple style but with everything you need.
All rooms, are located next to the reception and the restaurant as well as to our coffee and reserved beach. Rooms are equipped with air conditioning, ceiling fan, hot water, refrigerator and kettle for herbal teas or coffee. Moreover each room has a small private veranda with armchairs.
The bathrooms are very spacious and provided of shower and hairdryer. According to the tradition they are opened on the ceiling.
These simple rules to follow are in respect for the local population.
It's forbidden:
It is forbidden to pick up corals and go around the island with skimpy clothes. Especially women have to cover shoulders, breasts and legs. On the contrary, you are free to be wear bikini only at the bikini beach or on the boat while going to excursions but only once you leave the harbor.
